All Dressed Up

Hi everyone

It's challenge time again over at All Dressed Up and our theme this fortnight is Stitching - Real or Faux

I have only ever once tried real stitching on my cards - D. I. S. A. S. T. E. R.! I ended up throwing such a strop with my new sewing machine that I bought solely for doing cards that I advertised it on a local selling page on Facebook and sold it that night. I regretted it the day after but moved on and haven't thought about it again. That is until I saw my fellow DT Dressy Girls cards for this challenge. I of course have used fake stitching. The girls who have done real WOW they look amazing. So off I went and got myself a new sewing machine. Ok technically its not new and it's only borrowed but I am determined to stick at it this time.

I havent had enough practice yet to have done real stitching so I'm afraid my card for this challenge is all fake.

I decided to go for a CAS look on this card using only a single glittered heart and three little glass pearls.
I coloured the image using copics and used the Cameo to do the writing and the stitching. I used a Sakura Clear Star gel pen to add a little sparkle.

I have a tutorial on my YouTube channel I did a while ago showing you how to do the fake stitching using the Cameo.

Head back over to the challenge blog now to check our the other Dressy Girls stitching and add your own entry.
