Kenny K DT Call

Hi everyone,

Happy Thanksgiving to all my followers from across the pond. Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Ok on with todays post. I want to show you 2 of the cards I made for my nephews birthday. When I heard Kenny K was having a DT call I just knew I had to use some Kenny K images for Brad's cards and have a go at entering the DT call. If anyone wants to know more about the DT call visit the Kenny K blog HERE

So Lets show you my cards:

CARD 1
The image used on the first one is Boy Gamer
The numbers, wording, and stars were all cut on the Silhouette Cameo
The papers were  OH BOY from  SIMPLY BRENNA on Etsy

The image was coloured with Copics (skin is promarkers - I will master copic skin one day!)

As always I like to use the same papers on the inside and used my favourite Clarity Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

 CARD 2
Next card is Airborne digi image again from Kenny K
The cameo was used for cutting the stars and flagpole. I also used the sketch pens in the Cameo to do the writing.
Papers are from Jessica Sprague Boys pack.

The image was coloured with Copics and again promarkers for the skin.

Second attempt at the inside. I finished this card and knew something wasn't right. I have been so busy with Christmas cards lately I had stamped 'Merry Christmas' inside instead of Happy Birthday!

Here are a few more Kenny K images I have worked with in the past.

Good luck to anyone else entering the DT call.

Here Come the Boys - Challenge 65 - Sentiments only!

Hi everyone ot's challenge time again over at Here Come The Boys and the theme this time is Sentiments Only.

Here is my DT card:

I used the Silhouette cameo a lot on this card (as always!). The babygrow banner, Welcome and circle were all cut on it as was the main shape of the card. I also used another function of the cameo on this one and that is Vinyl. I used black vinyl and a transfer paper to do the main sentiment.

All Dressed Up - Ribbon and/or Lace

Hi everyone, I'm here today with another DT card for the super cute All Dressed Up.

Its challenge time again and this time the theme is Ribbon and/or Lace.

Now if anyone knows me and my sister you know we are ribbon and lace hoarders! between us we could open our own shop I'm sure. Now you may realize this challenge is team B and I am on team A. Well not anymore. We lost a couple of our DT ladies so I have jumped over to team B and was told I could skip this challenge as I only had a week to make it. SKIP A CHALLENGE???? Are you serious! Especially one with ribbon and lace. I need no excuse to bury myself in my ribbon box.

Anyway I will stop waffling and get onto showing you my card.

I chose the super cute Love is in the Air, another new release from All Dressed Up

I coloured the image with Copics.

I decided to leave the inside of the card blank, as I think this card could be used for a number of occasions.

Isn't this lacey ribbon adorable. I got this from a local craft shop called Home Farm Crafts and have been waiting for the perfect chance to use it. The ribbon and lace is actually one piece. I also have this in blue.

Please stop by the All Dressed Up challenge blog and have a look at the other DT cards. As always there are some great projects. Don't forget to add your entry too!

PLEASE CAN I ASK YOU ALL FOR A FEW MINUTES:
Im sure everyone has seen the news about the Philappines.

Our main boss has set up a Just Giving page and is appealing for all staff, players, friends, families EVERYONE to help us raise £5000 for the British Red Cross to help with the aid efforts over in Philippines. I know moneys tight at this time of the year but if anyone could possibly help us reach this target please use the link below to take you to the Just Giving page. Hi everyone,

Last week MayzyArt released some fab new digi stamps. It was nice to see Mayzy back in action and of course I just had to have the new digis. They are super cute. See the new collection HERE

I cut all the borders and corners with the Silhouette Cameo and used Spring Drop paper from First Edition Papers.

The image was coloured with promarkers and copics

Lace, pearls, peal flowers and metal corners are all from That Craft Place

I used the same paper and a Clarity Stamp to make the inside match the front.

All Dressed Up Challenge - Give Thanks/Autumn Colours.

Hi everyone. Its challenge time again over at All Dressed Up

The theme for this challenge is Give Thanks/Autumn Colours  and can also include  thank you, thanks giving or any autumn colours. The winner will receive 3 stamps from the All Dressed Up store.

This challenge sees the release of two great new stamps from All Dressed Up. Please take a few minutes to visit the Etsy store to check them out.

I used one of the new stamps for my DT card called All Wrapped Up and used Autumn colours to create this...

The paper used was designed by Wendy who designs All Dressed Up. The leaves, branches and bottom border were all cut on the Silhouette Cameo available from That Craft Place

The image was coloured with Promarkers and Copics.

I used the same paper on the inside and left the middle blank so the card can be used for a variety of occasions.
