A change from cards..... (photo heavy!)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to have a change from making cards and flicking through Pinterest I saw a gorgeous gorgeous project from Sandras Scrapshop. For those of you who don't know about Sandra's Scrapshop please click on the link and pay a visit. Sandra is a very talented crafter from the Netherlands who has an amazing online shop full of .PDF files and .STUDIO files for you to create some amazing 3d projects. I have shopped with Sandra before and made a pirate ship and 3d Star but this one has to be my favourite of all Sandras designs.
(I was making this for a DT project later in the month but couldn't wait to show it off)

Here it is:

Welcome to my Scrap Shop!

Front view - I have used Little Flower Girl digi stamp from All Dressed Up. The file from Sandra's Scrapshop includes the building and files for the roof tiles, dorma window, window frames and door. The rest of what you can see here - the welcome sign, the bicycle the lamp-post and the wall lamp are all cut files from the Silhouette store and cut on the Cameo. The lace and Dutch Doobadoo butterflies are from That Craft Place. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts I have used Kraft card from Papermill Direct for the base and decorated with papers from Raspberry Roads Sunday Soiree  pack.

Side View - trees and fence also from the Silhouette Store

Other Side View - Please come again sign is another cut file from the Silhouette store.

The 'Scrap Shop' writing is included with the file from Sandra's Scrapshop. I added some more lace and flowers.

Back

And here's the cool thing  - the front opens up reveailing some great little details inside.
 Let's take a closer look...

The digi I have used here is one of the girls from Three Little Autumn Girls by All Dressed Up.
The table is made from a cut file from the Silhouette Store and the vase of flowers is made with a little strip of card glued into a tube and the flowers placed in silicon.
I cut a piece of card and added some ribbon to make a shelf and added a little box and a charm on for ornaments.
The little frame on the wall is another digi stamp from All Dressed UP from the Hearts and Bows set

The table and sewing machine are another of Sandra's Scrapshops files
I hung some metal charms on the wall and made a little order board using pearls for the pins.

I used a cutfile from the Silhouette Store to cut out the tailors dummy on the wall and embellished it with a few pearls.

I added a key to the wall by the door and used some thin wire edged sequin ribbon for curtains. Look at those cute little curtain poles made from cocktail sticks.

I added some more ribbon to the single window to make another cutain.

I added more lace to the frame to cover up any bare kraft card.

WOW it took some work I can tell you! In total I would hazard a guess at there being about 23 hours work in this project and I have to admit I am extremely proud. Of course credit has to go to Sandra for the original which I took a lot of inspiration from whilst trying not to copy hers exactly.
