I wish....I wish...I wish.....

Hi everyone,

It is already time for another new release over at Scrapper's delights and this time there are three sheets of digi sentiments for you.

I used the sentiments from the middle sheet above and picked one of the gorgeous new Genies to go with them, Genie 3.

I used the star sentiment saying 'Dreams' as the card base and using the trace and offset function in the Silhouette Cameo I created an easel base with it. I then used some pink papers from the Paper Pack 1 also from Scrapper's Delights. I used the swirling 'make a wish' sentiment to create a step for the easel and also used the 'Wishing You Luck' sentiment on the front of the card.
I used Icicles Stickles on the pink cloud and added a few pink gems from my stash

The image is coloured with Copics.
HAIR: BLACK 100, BV06
SKIN: E33, E11, 21, E00, E000, R20
CLOTHES: R85, R83, R81
CLOUD: RV10, RV000, RV0000

Head over to Scrapper's Delights blog to see how the other DT members have used the new sentiments. Why not join in with our latest challenge while you are there?

But wait! Theres More...

At the last minute the amazing Janice from Scrapper's Delight released another stunning Genie to add to the ever growing collection *whispers* between you and me, I think our Scrapper's has a little Genie obsession going on*whispers*

So out came the cameo again and I used some of the other sentiments to create this second card:

I have again taken another of the new sentiments, this time the 'Wishes' oval and created an easel base. I used the zig zag happy birthday stamp to create the stop for the easel and then took the Wishes Do Come True digi and overlaid it over the new genie.  I added a few teal pearls. I think these images speak for themselves and don't need much embellishments adding.

Saturated Canary Christmas Angel

Hi Everyone

Today I completed a card I have been working on for a few days. Not that it should take that long, I just haven't had much time for crafting lately. As I am only on one DT now due to my recent promotion at work, I have now got a little more time to play with some stamps I have had for a long time but not had time to play with.

Today I have got this beautiful Christmas digi stamp to show you from Saturated Canary.

Image is Christmas Angel from Saturated Canary
Paper is  Winter Pinks from Candybox Digital
The card base, tree and '25 Dec' and banner are all cut on the Cameo using files from the Silhouette Store.
I used Spun Sugar distress ink and Chunky White frantage around the image.

The image is coloured with Copics.
HAIR: E57, E55, E53
SKIN: E33, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20
PINK: R85, R83, R81
LIGHT PINK RV10, RV000, RV0000

Scrappers Delights new release papers

Hi everyone,

today there is no image release from Scrapper's Delights BUT there is something equally exciting if you are a digi paper hoarder like me! I love digi papers. I love how you can print our as little or as much as you want, you don't have any sheets left that you know you just won't use. I don't know about you but whenever I buy a 'real' paper pad I never actually like every single sheet in them. With digi papers you only print out the ones you will use. If you have a printer that is expensive on inks then maybe digi papers aren't the best thing for you but I have a fantastic printer that runs on really cheap inks. The Canon Pixma MG5350 cost me around £70 and the inks are £4.99 for a 2 full sets off ebay. I have had the printer since last November and I have used less then 6 sets. So less then £15 on ink in 9 months and I print all my papers! Thats less then the price of 2 paper pads.

Anyway back to Scrapper's Delights. The new Paper Pack Set 1 is released today and comes in 10 designs and you get each design in 4 colours.

The papers are set to 8" x 8", however when I was making the boxes pictured below I printed them all our stretched to fit an A4 sheet and there was no loss of quality or distortion at all. The colours are so rich and vibrant they really are gorgeous.

I needed some little boxes to keep all my printed out digis stored in until I get round to colouring them in and found a great cutfile in the Silhouette store for these little stoage boxes each with thei own sleeve. I made 20 of them and did the box and sleeve a different paper, using all 40 of the new papers that you get in this pack.

Head on over to Scrapper's Delights store now to check out these and the other fantastic digital papers and images. Don't forget the current challenge over at Scrapper's Delights Challenge Blog - Anything Goes with Button, Bows and Ribbon!
