Hi everyone another post from me today. I want to show you all something I have been working on for the last 17 months! Last April I was asked by a neighbour if I would consider making her wedding invitations and matching items for her. Well my first thought was no way, I'm not good enough. But I thought about it and had a play about with some samples and I talked myself into taking it on. So the brief was pink, butterflies and cute!

I've had lots of contact with the bride throughout the planning both on Facebook and in person and let me tell you she was definately one excited bride. I told Natalie I would not put any photos of whatever I made until after the wedding in case any guests saw anything, I didn't want to spoil any surprises.

Finally, the wedding day arrived yesterday and me and Anna walked round to Natalie's mums house to watch her leave for the wedding. Oh my word she looked STUNNING. I was blown away when her mum and sister shouted me over and presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine. This wasn't expected at all but very much appreciated.

So let me show you what I made for this very special day:

337 sheets of white cardstock,
159 sheets of pink cardstock,
586 die cut butterflies,
24 rolls of ds tape,
2 bottles of anitas tacky glue,
 2100 pink gems,
125 meters of pink ribbon,
114 diamante hearts

Day Invitations:

Info for my crafty friends - the border was punched using Woodware Crafty Edger system, the butterfly using Cheery Lyn small butterfly.

The RSVP on the right was perforated so tore off leaving the rest of the invite to fold back up

I made 45 of these in total.

Evening Invitations:

Natalie and Ben choose a different design for the evening invitations. This is a favourite of mine. again I used the Cheery Lyn butterfly die.

The inside had yet another butterfly and a slot for the reply card to sit in.

I made 30 of these initially and then a further 15 later on.

Table Numbers:

8 Table numbers and a top table.

Place Cards:

I would love the take the credit for the actual butterfly here but these were bought plain and I blinged up using the same pink gems I used in the rest of the order. If I remember rightly I did 90 of these.

Order Of Service:

The order of service were made to match the day invitations, I made 60 of these and an extra one in larger print (I forgot to take a close up of these ooops)

Favour Boxes x 100!

Next we have 100 of these little boxes which the bride brought and asked me to decorate along the theme. So another 100 butterflies later we have these beautiful little favour boxes.

Sweetie Time!!

The wedding evening reception was to incude a sweeties trolley and I was asked to make labels for each of the sweets. Again the butterflies and gems made an appearance and I used the sketch pens with the Silhouette Cameo to do the writing.

Wedding Card:

I wanted to make a wedding card for the happy couple and I thought why not stick to the theme so using the design I used on the evening invitations I came up with this:

And lastly here are the beautiful flowers from Natalie and Ben - thank you both!

I'm really hoping everything went well yesterday for the happy couple, I can't wait to see the photos!

Congratulations!

Keep Smilin'
