So COOL!

Hi everyone 

It feels like so long since I last blogged anything other than a DT card. I haven't been very well so the crafting has taken a backseat. I now have a week off work and I am feeling much better so what better way to spend my first day off than with my copics and Ribbon Girl products. 

First up is a card I made today using a Kenny K digi stamp. I was so sad to hear Kenny K closed their doors. Another great designer closed down their store. Still I have very fond memories of being part of the Kenny K DT back in 2013/14 and have lots of their images to keep me going. 

This image was and still is one of my favourite KennyK images.

After the last few cards I made being blue I was itching to get back to my comfirt zone and pink cards! I decided to also use some of the lovely brown papers that come with the pinks in the Maja Designs 'Sofiero' paper pack. Aren't they just gorgeous!!

Another Funky Girl

Hi everyone 

It's FRIDAYYYYY Yaaay! Crafting weekend planned? I hope so! 

Today's card is using another of the gorgeous Krista Smith images available over at Make It Crafty. 

I coloured this one a couple of days ago but have been waiting for the new Maja papers to be delivered. 

I have used a sketch by the super talented Milo Lilja to create the layout of this card. Take a look at the sketches page on Milo's site - there are lots of fantastic ones to choose from.

Just One More Chapter!

Hi everyone, 

Yesterday my daughter and I joined our local Library. I used to love reading years ago and then along came the internet and ipads and games on mobile phones and I fell into the trap and laying in bed on a night on my ipad and then wondering why I never sleep until 3-4am. My daughter (16y.o) has been struggling too and so we made a pact last night. We joined the library and as we went to bed we left our ipads and laptops and phones downstairs. 

I still didnt go to sleep until 3am because the book I chose was sooooo good I kept thinking 'just one more chapter then I will put it down' lol. I realised I didnt have a bookmark so I decided that would be todays project. I knew just which digi to use too.
