All Dressed Up

Hi everyone,

I spent some time on Pinterest recently and spotted a beautiful card that immediately took my eye and I thought I have to try and recreate this. Out of courtesy whenever I 'copy' a card layout/fold from Pinterest I always like to email the original creator first and ask if they mind me 'copying' their creation.

So I emailed the lovely Lena Karine (original project can be see HERE) and was over the moon when Lena said she was happy for me to copy the layout/fold. So here is my take on this beautiful card.

Something a little different

Hi everyone

tonight I have made a quick card using one of the images from the True Love image pad from Lili Of The Valley. If you are a follower of my blog you will know how much i love my digi stamps and copics. But my sister is a huge fan of the Lili of The Valley coloured pads as she isnt as keen on colouring the images herself. Last week we went to the GNPE at Harrogate and they had a deal on the pads so we went halves and I got a couple to try for those times you just need to be quicker at getting a card done.

I have used one of the images tonight and I have to say although I missed doing my colouring I really enjoyed making this card.

Lace, Ribbon & Pearls - Brenda's Lace and Ribbon Specials

I am definately going to be buying some of these pads at Christmas to make all my Christmas cards!

Charming - That Craft Place part 1

Hi everyone

Happy Mother's Day to all you scrummy mummies out there. Hope you are all being spoiled today.

We have a new challenge over at That Craft Place today and I have done not one but two DT cards for the challenge.

First up:

All shapes cut on the Silhouette Cameo.
Cameo and all embellishments available from That Craft Place

I used Copics to colour the image. (forgot to write the list of colours down sorry)

I used the text and fill feature on the Cameo to create these little sentiment tags.

Rather then the usual easels that I norally use for my shaped cards I used one of the new brackets from the Silhouette Store by Lori Whitlock.

This bracket folds flat to the card.
