Advent - December 7th - Post 2

Hi everyone,

For the second of todays post I have decided to show you one of my newest digi images...

The image is Santa's Helpers - a new digi image from Tiddlyinks
The papers are same as the previous card - Winter Wonderland from Etsy
I used the Silhouette Cameo a lot for this card. The card base, snowflakes and snowflake border were all cut on the cameo as well as the Merry Christmas round sentiment. The cameo copes really well with detailed cuts. I use Papermill direct card. It is slightly more expensive then the 'fill a box' card from my local craft shop but the difference in the cameo is definitely worth it.

The image is coloured with Copics (and promarkers for the skin - my new year resolution is to master copic skin!)

Right I better go get cracking I have some wrapping that needs doing!

I haven't decided which card to show you next yet so it will be a surprise this time.

Advent - December 7th - Post 1

Hi everyone,
A big thank you to everyone who is keeping up with my advent posts. I would love to hear what you think in the comments below. Please leave your blog addy and I will pop over and return the love.
Ok onto tonights card which is from my first stamping love - Lili Of The Valley.

The papers I used are Winter Wonderland digi papers from  over on Etsy.

The image was coloured with promarkers.
I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the snowflakes and used the fantastic offset function on the cameo to make a backing for them so they stand out a bit better. I used a shimmer dome sticker from Papermania in the centre of each one.

The sentiment was printed using Docrafts Digital Designer. The bow is handmade using Beresfords double sided satin ribbon. The corner is again cut on the Cameo.

If anyone is thinking about getting a Cameo - STOP!!! Stop thinking about it and do it! You will never regret it. The cameo is available from That Craft Place via their website or facebook shop

Ok time for me to go now and leave you with another sneaky peek at the next card..

I hope you can pop back at midday where the full card will be here for you to see.

Challenges I would like to enter this card into:
A gem of a challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Calender Challenge - Cold and Frosty

Advent 6th December - Post 2

Hi everyone,

It's time for todays advent midday post. Did anyone guess from the sneaky peek on my last post which image I used? Well its a pretty new one from All Dressed Up so you are forgiven if you didn't guess it correctly.

The snowflake corner flourishes were cut on the Silhouette Cameo using a cut file from Birds Cards

The image is coloured with Copics (I have used Promarkers for the skin as I STILL can't master Copic Skin) Does anyone else have that one thing they just can't get to grips with?

And lastly as always I've used the same papers inside to make it look pretty (and to strengthen the back as the front of my cards tend to be pretty heavy.)

I will be back tonight at midnight with another card for you - this time from an old favourite of mine - LOTV! See you at 12!

Advent 6th December - Post 1

Evening all,

How many of you night owls are reading this in the small hours?

Ok next up on my Advent Blog postings we have a supercute image from Pollycraft. I really should delve into my Pollycraft folder more. The first time Pollycraft closed down I bought the bundle offer of every stamp....and did the same when they closed for the second time so I have EVERY Pollycraft image and have proberbly only ever used about 5. As Pollycraft has now closed down again I won't be able to link back to the original image. Anyway lets look at the card:

I just love this little fella! How cute is he. Wouldn't we all like a candy cane bigger then us too!
The papers I used are from Klouisedigiart over on Etsy.
The snowflakes were cut on the Silhouette Cameo using Papermill Direct white card.

As always I used Copics to colour the image.

As always I used the same paper inside.

Here is a sneaky peek at the next post which will be at midday.

Hi everyone,

As promised here is another Christmas card from DigiStamp Boutique.

For those of you who missed the last few posts from me, I am blogging a Christmas card I have made at midnight and midday everyday between now and Christmas Day.

The papers are a mixture of Frosty Christmas from Lili of the Valley and some digi papers off Etsy. (Seriously - search Christmas papers on Etsy and WOW you will never be stuck for a paper again!)

The image is coloured with Copics ( I use both Ciaos and Sketches)

I look forward to showing you my next card (midnight tonight). Next up is a card from Pollycraft

Time for the midnight post 5th December.

This time I have a lovely image from Digistamp Boutique.

The papers I have had in my stash and can't remember where they are from (before blogging I didn't use to save anything in folders)

The image is coloured using copics.

I used the same papers again to decorate the middle of the card.

Hope to see you at mid-day for my next advent post and another Christmas card from Digistamp Boutique.

Advent Countdown 21 days to go!

Hi Everyone,

Like many of my crafting friends I have been snowed under making Christmas cards over the last few weeks. I wanted to share them all with you and wondered how to do it - lots of posts and flood everyones blogger / bloglovin', or one big post with all cards in but then I wouldn't be able to enter them into challenges. I have decided to share 2 cards a day from now until Christmas. I'm going to blog them all tonight and schedule a post at midnight and midday from now until Santa comes. I hope this will give you all some inspiration.

So lets get cracking with the first one:

The image is Happy Christmas Little Star from All Dressed Up
The papers are Digi Papers from Etsy

The image is coloured with Copics and Promarkers for the skin.

I used the same paper inside the card and popped in a sentiment stamp.

Next post will be at midnight tonight - I hope you pop back then (or tomorrow morning if you aren't a night owl like me lol)
