Miss Personality

Hi all 

Ok so I know I said I would blog a card a day until I have caught up with all the cards I made before I was ill BUT I just couldnt wait to show you this next card. I bought this little digi more or less as soon as it was released and it has been sat printed off on my shelf for ages. I decided to colour it up and finally do something with her. I love this and have just the cheeky little girl in mind who has a birthday coming up soon!

Happy Birthday Louise

Hi everyone, 

After a weeks rest from all things crafty I am looking forward to a good night catching up on some blogging. I won't post them all tonight though I am going to try and crack this scheduling lark and try and bring you a card a day for a little while. Although I have done no crafting due to being ill for the last week or so I have got quite a few cards to show you that were made previously but which I couldnt show off until I had given them out! 

First up is one I made for my next door neighbours daughter. Louise was only about 4 when they moved in next door - I am feeling old now she has just turned 21!! Congratulations Louise we hope you had a fantastic day!

I used Copics to colour the image but unfortunately I didnt save the colours I used Sorry! 
I do know the skin was E33, E11, E21, E00 and the hair is RV99, R59, R56
 

I also used my new addition to my pen collection - Copic Spica Glitter pens. They are lush! I haven't had much chance to play with them yet but so far I am loving them. 


The bow is made with the Embellishment Attic bow maker using some very thin wire edged organza ribbon from Primrose Crafts. LUSH! 

Flowers! I love flowers on cards.

Pixie Corner

Hi everyone, 

A quick post today as it is nearly midnight and I will turn into a pumpkin any minute now if I don't get to bed soon! 

Today has been a full day spent at the craft desk. I have tried my hand at sewing today - not my usual fake stitching but actual proper needle and thread (I tried a machine - hahaha it didn't end well) and although this card has taking me longer to make then any other card I have ever done I think it might just might by my favourite card I have ever done too!

It's a BOY!

Hi everyone,  

Ok so why is this post titled It's a BOY! when its not a new baby card? Well, when Krista released this image over at Saturated Canary as part of the New Year 2015 bundle this was the first image I printed and couldnt wait to get 'her' printed up. I had bought my daughter some Dr Dre's Beats for Christmas so saw this image and I thought its perfect for her. Coloured it in - all pinks and lemons and girly. Showed it to my daughter who said 'Erm mum isn't that meant to be a boy?!'  I have no idea what made me think it was a girl. As soon as she said it I thought DOH of course it is lol! So here is my new BOY version of this amazing digi. Maybe soon I will be brave enough to show you my tomboy version too!

21 already!

Hi everyone 

Happy New Year! 

Well, they say there is no rest for the wicked and that is certainly the case for me in January. No time to rest after all those Christmas cards as I have 5 birthdays in January!! First up is my neighbours daughter who will be 21 on the 16th. Normally I wouldnt post cards until after the recipient has seen them but as I want to use this as an entry for a GDT spot with Saturated Canary I need to blog it now - and hope Louise doesnt look on here!
